White Plains, NY – October 19, 2009 – Starwood Hotels & Resorts and American Airlines Group & Meeting Travel announced a partnership to bring sky high savings to meeting planners and corporate travel planners nationwide. This new group promotion is part of a larger effort by Starwood Hotels to provide value added incentives with world-class partners to corporate accounts as meetings and group business return to the road.
Now through December 31, 2009, meeting planners will receive 4% off their master bill and one complimentary room for every 25 rooms booked at participating Starwood properties. Additionally, for every 25 airline flights booked with American Airlines, a free airline flight will be credited to the meeting planner for future travel needs. American Airlines will also offer meeting planners and corporate accounts other special group rates in conjunction with this great offer. Bookable at more than 380 Starwood properties nationwide, 32 of which are Starwood Convention Collection hotels, and through America Airlines Group & Meeting travel department, this latest meeting and group promotion appeals to companies and planners who are looking for new value to incorporate into their conservative travel budgets of today.
